And I can\u2019t wrap my head around it.<\/p>\n<p>Time is a fickle beast. In December of 2015, I was surrounded by family, enjoying a reasonably drama-free Christmas (if you know my bunch, that\u2019s saying something.)<\/p>\n<p>Six months later, my mother was gone.<\/p>\n<p>Six months. What if I\u2019d known that Christmas was our last with her? What would I have done differently?<\/p>\n<p>So much loss &#8230; and there\u2019s no way to stop the scythe from swinging. Yeah, I know it\u2019s morbid, but I\u2019m feeling a little morbid tonight. Out there tonight are families mourning unimaginable losses. Out there is a woman who lost the love of her life and her beautiful baby girl.<\/p>\n<p>Hug your loved ones. Please. Tell them how you feel. Don\u2019t let an \u201cI love you\u201d go unsaid.
